Last weekend at the ‘rents’ house, I scanned a few new clips. Here they are…
Dressed to Impress, The Front Porch*
Fabricating a Business, Brookline Magazine
Writing Great Holiday Letters, 100Hats.com
*The Front Porch has since stopped publishing, so I was very lucky to get in (and get paid – phew!) under the wire.

Oh, I loved “Dressed to Impress!” I’ll have to go read the others, too. I loved the anticipation of you perking up each time a lady in spandex walked in. Boy, were you surprised!
As always, I enjoy your writings
Smiles,
Michele
Susan, I read each one of these and had to laugh at the Dress to Impress one. I’ll bet absolutely every woman can relate to that one. Neat about those oilcloth handbags and the photo is really nice too (is that really of those owners?) Very nice photo also of the handbag. And about the newsletters, good points reminded me about *not overtelling* (I forget the exact wording) but that was a good reminder. (I do a bi-monthly newsletter about my work here and find myself debating quite often about what is tooo much.) So enjoyed the links to those clips. Such writing talent – somehow you make it look effortless! (but probably many hours of work) EE

Thank you both! I owe my friend Rachel for the Dressed to Impress clip. I was telling her the story and she interrupted me to exclaim “Susan, you have to write about that!” So I did.
Eileen, that is actually owners. They were very sweet and welcomed me into their home/design studio to chat about their company (of course I didn’t take that photo, but I’ve been known to do that for other subjects if they don’t have press photos available).
Excellent work!!
